San Diego to Denver July 2008
Our Travels took us up 15N to I10 east of LA to Phoenix up 17 to Flagstaff then east on I40 to Alburqueque and up 25N to Denver CO. This was where our adventure began after living in the motorhome in San Diego since March 2008.

Denver to Sturgis 2008
Driving to Sturgis from Denver took us through Wyoming and into the Black Hills of South Dakota. It was beautiful scenery!

The Black Hills of SD are beautiful. Yes, there were hundreds of buffalo along the road as we toured the Balck Hills.

This is definitely one of those experiences in life that will blow you away. I was in awe of how the small town of Sturgis transforms for Bike Week.

Sturgis SD to Missoula MT
The excitement was growing as we left the beautiful Black Hills and began to explore the Northwest. Missoula is now our home base and as we drove through Wyoming into Montana we felt the beauty as well as seeing it.

Missoula Montana to Coeur d'Alene Idaho
Traveling on I90 we headed to Lake Coeur d'Alene Camping Resort to spend the night and visit friends from California.

For Camping of any kind this place is like heaven on earth. Quietly tucked at the an end of the lake in the northern part of Idaho you will feel the beauty as it is at the edge of a national forest. Dont miss out on this beautiful place to get away.

Coeur d'Alene Idaho to Portland Oregon
Leaving one beautiful area and heading towards another is something that is truly amazing, We set off on I90 and turned south through an Indian Reservation and followed the Columbia River into Portland.

Sailing the Columbia River
This boat the "Rocinante" was where Michael's mom and Bill spent two years sailing all over the northwest. We went out for lunch on the boat for their last adventure on the boat before selling it,

The Redwoods "Avenue of the Giants"
Located along the northern coast of Califonia a few hours south of the Oregon border lives the giant redwoods. This is a site to see as they tower so tall you van barely see the tops of the trees.

Columbia Riverfront RV Park
Our motorhome was right on the water and the views at sunset were breathtaking. The park was small and had everything you needed including large drive throguh spots that fit us easily.

Portland Oregon to Anacortes Washington
Traveling in the northwest almost to the northern most corner of Washington State just before labor day was beautiful. The sites and the people were so friendly we loved it.

Seattle Washington to Bethal Island California
We traveled back from the northwest to CA on I-5 enjoying the idea of staying in Bethal Island for 3 months. The plan was to explore San Francisco for a few months and Bethal Island is located on the Sacramento Delta about 45 miles away..

Outside San Francisco
From the vineyards of Napa to the pastures of Oakley there is so much to see in the outskirts along the Sacramento Delta. The one thing that surprised me was how many power plants with huge power lines branching out in all directions.

As the jets flew overhead you could feel the excitement of all who attened this event along the shores by Fisherman's Wharf.

Berkeley
Berkeley is in Northern California just over the bridge from San Francisco. Exploring the campus definitely held up to its reputation as there were people everywhere expressing their views on just about everything. It was a wonderful experience.

We spent three months exploring San Francisco and its surrounding areas. Nothing so far can compare to the location and diversity we saw while there. We love the city!

Brooklyn & New York City
NYC is definitely the city that never sleeps. It has an essence of it's own that instills a feeling of excitement as you move within millions of people living and visiting such a beautiful city.

Edison NJ, Englishtown NJ & Philadelphia PA "Fall" 2008
Visiting the east coast in the fall is always a beautiful experience with all the colors that appear as the leaves change. Visiting family in Edison, Shopping for useless Christmas presents in Englishtown and exploring Philadelphia were all great fun.

San Francisco to Portland Coastline
We drove from Bodega Bay just north of San Francisco up the coast highway through Eureka and all points between to Portland Oregon. What a beautiful coastline the northwest is.

Mesa AZ to Tortilla Flat AZ
While staying in Mesa AZ just to the east of Phoenix for the winter we took a few rides to Tortilla Flat. Passing Superstition Mountain and traveling trough the Tonto National Forest brings you to this little western town. The population is 6 all employees and it is the only authentic stagecoach stop left on the Apache Trail.

Vail Village 2009
Beautiufl Vail Village in the Rocky Mountain of Colorado has an air all its own. The streets are lined with shops and restaurants and all that a ski town nestled in the mountains can give you.
