What lead to the Adventures beginning

Life is definitely a matter of perception and perspective and a belief and faith in the Universe that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

How we have gotten to were we are now has been a matter of following our intuition and going where our inspirations take us.

Let me begin with Michael. He has always dreamed of living on the road and seeing the world in a new way. From as far back as the 80's he has wanted to live in a home on wheels. His life has given him many experiences that have led him to finding out what his truth is and how to live that from deep within. We are all different and have our own passions and skills. Finding what works for us and then having the courage and faith to do that is how he ended up living in a motorhome on the road today.

For myself when life changed and I had a change to think about myself, I found that I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I spent most of my life taking care of a husband and kids. I did all the things that are supposedly included in the "American Dream." Joining the PTA, taking the kid everywhere they needed to go, cooking, cleaning and when that all ended I had no idea what to do next. At the age of 48 with the kids grown and the husband gone the question was "now what?" Many different things led to me moving to CA and beginning to seek some answers to that question. I got involved in a group that gave me some tools to look within to find the answers. I hired a life coach to help me find out what to do and that led to finding my truth. What are some of the things I want to do in my life? I wanted to help people and move to a place of doing that on a larger scale than I was at that moment. Then I met Michael in february of 2007 and I found in him the same truths and feelings that I had within me. We moved in together and all of a sudden many pieces of our puzzle fell into place. I was in a position of needing to sell the house I bought, We were looking for a place to live, and while he was in Denver in February of 08 he went and saw the motorhome we live in now and that started this whole process moving. It took a very short time to sell everything, and start thinking about only taking with us what could fit within our motorhome and trailer.

Then in the end of March of 08 we moved into the motorhome full time and there is something about living in a house on wheels that make you want to move. We kept working on taking to the road and figuring out how to make money from where ever we were. In July we left San Diego behind and we have been moving ever since.

We rarely know where we are going next, what we know is that we want to spend 3-6 months in different cities to really experience the people and culture. So far we have been able to do that in San Francisco and Phoenix. We look forward to seeing where our travels take us now.
